Lynda Gail Lewis 22:20 Mike Byrne finished his set and then produced a fitting preamble for bringing on The Boogie Woogie Country Girl herself... She opened up with the old familiar Lewis sound... But this wasn't Old Jerry Lee, this was his awe-inspiring sibling... Her apprenticeship had been served with the master of Boogie Woogie and she had learned her trade well... Linda Gail knows too well how to play the audience and this time it was no exception... for those who had been before - she justified their faith and those who were new to this diva's skill were converted... I passed amongst the throng and listened to the banter - it was a pleasure to partake in the positive feedback... This show was a great success and I was so pleased for Marga and Ted who had worked so hard to get it all together.. I remember well when Ted originally confided in me his plan to produce the show, his enthusiasm and drive were 110% and it had now paid off... |
