Kingsize Taylor
and The Dominoes
9:00 p.m.

By this time the place was really filling up - it was now difficult to manoeuvre the dance floor...

Kingsize and the guys produced one of the best sets I have heard for a long time. Many people stopped me to air their appreciation for this magnificent performance...

Kingsize himself was really on the ball, knockin out all the classics that rebounded around The Star Club and The Cavern in the 60s his distinctive voice could not be mistaken and it was pitched impeccably. Great to see Pete (Mesh) Stephenson keeping the time and John Frankland supplying the rhythm...

I made my way to the front stage and noticed that what was earlier a very busy place, only had a single couple in the back, left corner - everybody had transferred to the main show area (back stage).

I have to say of course that without these great supporters the show would not have been possible...

Many thanks to all those who came out in force to make it a truly great night.

Kingsize finished the set in style with Stupidity - the crowd wanted more and were treated to a great encore...
